The Power Of Silence - 10 Reasons Silent People Are Successful

ten reasons why silent people are successful have you ever wondered why                                                                         silent people are successful one of the                                                         psychology theories that divides humans into two types of personality is based on how they get their energy one who gets their energy from being on the outside and socializing is called an extrovert while one who gets their energy from alone time is called an introvert how does extraversion and introversion correlate with success some of the qualities of a successful person are often associated with an extroverted person especially in a field which requires more public speaking and networking however some of the most successful and influential people in the world are introverts there are a bunch of successful silent people such as Bill Gates Mark Zuckerberg and Albert Einstein here is the reason why silent people are successful reasons why silent people are successful one they are great planners silent people often need more time to process information in their heads that is the reason why they do not talk much with the ability to think things through it makes them great planners they will come up with several scenarios in their heads because they don't see a reason why a person should talk much unless it's necessary to succeed in any field one needs to create plans and execute them this requires a lot of thinking and it would not be done by talking alone - they are good listeners silent people are successful without a shortcut a person will not instantly become successful it will take a lot of advice and improvement to finally succeed on their quest to be able to receive advice well one needs to be a good listener this doesn't necessarily mean people who love to talk more are not good listeners it is more because silent people often let others talk first so they receive more feedback to help them succeed 3 they are very creative silent people prefer to spend more of their time within their heads instead of talking to people during their alone time they often generate ideas and Link theories that result in creative work creativity is important to manage a business since customers often prefer variety the reason why some silent people are successful is that they use their creativity to create and enhance their business this type of person usually is the one who will surprise their peers with unconventional or innovative ideas for they choose their words carefully if you want to be successful but are afraid of people judging you for being a quiet person there is a great aspect of people who prefer silence a good communicator is not exclusive to those who like to talk silent people tend to speak less than others but once they do its granted that they have weighed their words carefully choosing the right words and emphasizing the important message is more tactful to persuade a prospective business client as a quiet person you spend more time deciding what to say and what you should not say 5 they are great observers a situation where one person does the talking and the other just stays in the background means it's likely for the latter to notice their surroundings more in a business it is important to observe the targeted market by using cues silent people are successful since they are apt to their surroundings they can see a pattern and use it for their next move a good observer also serves as an advantage if you work in a field that requires a lot of strategies six they keep only the best people introverts are likely more selective in their social circle they don't mind having only a few friends and confidants but they know they can count on them if you are an introvert you prefer quality over quantity therefore despite being a quiet person networking is still possible the difference of networking between silent people and the loud ones is the relationship is often premeditated an introvert businessman knows who he should associate himself with it helps to create both meaningful and beneficial relationships 7 they know their priorities think there are not any good qualities of silent people left it's incredible how an attribute that's often seen as a weakness has a lot of positive sides silent people may not be the most fun at parties but they know their priorities why some silent people are successful is that they know where they stand and they stick to their beliefs for example a person who focuses on a food and beverage industry knows that this is their priority before expanding their business to an unrelated field a consistent effort and right priorities are more likely to result in success 8 they can gain trust easily while being a trusted person may not have anything to do with how someone gets their energy it is understandable that others think that silent people are more trustworthy not talking all the time is also a sign of good self-control they know that some things are better left unsaid especially if it deals with confidential information take a look at a banker who probably knows the password of your savings book or an intelligence agent who knows the undisclosed secret people choose them for their ability to zip their mouths and not spill secrets all over the place 9 they are self-aware another reason why silent people are successful is they are aware of their ability and their shortcomings they know that every startup will not skyrocket in an instant as a result they are likely to follow a program to improve themselves and to fill the gap of their floors with other qualities self-awareness is not to be mistaken with being self conscious being self-aware means they know they lack something but instead of whining about it they seek a solution to make the best of their flaws 10 they have good self control as stated before silent people tend to have good self control being self-aware and focusing on a single thing means they don't over indulge themselves in stuff that will not benefit them with this quality some silent people are successful because they know what they should do and what they should not do they focus on their productivity instead of just pleasing people conclusion being choir in a loud world can be tough but once silent people know their worth the world will change with them the key is to know and to utilize these qualities silent people have many qualities as mentioned above that will help them to be successful their abilities to think deeply to know when to speak and to observe are some reasons why silent people are successful more than they expect to be hopefully by learning the good side of being an introvert it will help the silent people out there to start making an actual change and tobecome successful

Do These 5 Things Before Sleeping

This is getting too easy, just sleeping sadhana.                                                                                                     So, coming awake to an alarm bell with a sudden  start is not the best way to do your life.                                                                                      How many of you find that one day morning  when you get up without any reason,   you're just feeling ugly – for no reason? If it is happening even at least two, three times a year,    if it is then you must do certain things  before you go to bed; it's very, very important.   Because unconsciously, you need to understand this, you can incubate a lot of either negative things or positive things in sleep. Either pleasantness or unpleasantness, you can incubate very effectively uninterrupted in sleep. You can also incubate it in the day, but there are so many interruptions, it doesn't happen very efficiently. But if you have a tendency to go to bed in a certain way and wake up in the morning really nasty,   for simply no reason, that means you're incubating  things in the night very efficiently – bad eggs.   This is not just about psychological disturbances; it can cause major physiological problems over a period of time. This is important that you eliminate these things from your life.  So, before you go to bed in the night, there are certain things that you need to take care of.   It's best if you're eating meat and other kinds of meals, you eat at least three to four hours before you go to bed. The digestion is over before going to bed. Drink a certain amount of water and go to bed. You will see it gets taken care of just like this. One simple thing can be, just a shower, always to shower before go to bed; it will make a lot of difference.   In this weather, maybe cold showers are difficult,  so you go for lukewarm showers. Don't go for hot showers in the night; go for lukewarm showers.  It makes you alert, so you will think, “Oh, I cannot sleep.” It doesn't matter, you will sleep fifteen, twenty minutes or half an hour later,   but you will sleep better because it will  take away certain things. When you shower it is not just the dirt on the skin that you're taking away. Have you noticed, if you're very tense and anxious, whatever, just a shower you came out and feels like almost a burden has been taken away from you? Have you not noticed this? So, it's not just about washing the skin; a whole lot of things happen when water flows over your body.  This shower is a very rudimentary Bhuta Shuddhi.   Because over seventy percent of your body is actually water. If you run water over it, a certain purification happens, which is beyond cleaning the skin. One more thing if you want to do, you just light an organic oil lamp, a cotton wick, some oil, anything. What do you use here? Normal cooking oil, linseed oil, rice bran oil or sesame oil, what do you have?  Participants: Olive oil. Sadhguru: Olive oil, fine. Any organic oil with the cotton wick, just burn one little lamp somewhere in the room where you sleep,   you will see these things will completely disappear. If you can bring in a chant or there are nightly practices – yogic practices before you go to bed, sit on your bed and do this practice. Do you know in about… if you live for about sixty years, you're… on an average most human beings are eating anywhere between 1100 to 1400 tons of food? So that means even what you think is my body is not this. It's changing every day; new input is happening and old things are going away.   So 1400 tons, you don't have... carry that much of weight right now. So obviously what you have as a body right now, is just a transient amount of food and soil isn't it? Hello?  Participants: Yes. Sadhguru: So, what you think is mine also is not it? It is just all the time changing. Tonight, before you go to bed, spend at least twelve, fifteen minutes reminding yourself: you're neither this body, nor this mind. Just lie down and just remind yourself, this body is not really you. It is mine right now for use, but it's not really me. Just… if you're not able to do it, just link it to your breath: inhalation, I'm not the body; exhalation, I'm not even the mind. Just lie down for twelve minutes and do it till the last moment, till you fall asleep. This is something you must notice.

Stress Release (Fast)- Anxiety Reduction Technique

Give me two minutes and I'll show you something about stress.              so stress is the physical aspect of anxiety, the fear emotion. Stress is how anxiety shows up in our bodies. It comes with things like an increased heart rate, shallow breathing, muscle tension, stomach problems and headaches. So take a second right now and check your back and shoulders do you feel any tension there? Odds are good that you do so go ahead and relax. No really, relax. Relax! Now for most of you this did not work it most likely actually made things worse so now you may be feeling stressed out about feeling stressed out this is the paradox of emotions the more we try to make them go away the more we magnify them but all is not lost that does not mean that we are powerless over our emotions we just have to go in the back door sometimes so try this instead notice an area of your body that's feeling tense it may be your shoulders or your face or your back or your hands now I'm going to ask you to lean into that tension so with the shoulders example I want you to try to exaggerate that tension pull them up hard and tight around your ears clench and harden those muscles really feel those muscles tighten and hold it for five seconds it helps if you scrunch your face okay now soften those muscles breathe out let's do it one more time tense tighten. Now check in with your shoulders. For most people this helps them soften and relax those muscles in a way that they weren't able to do by just trying to relax. And that's the curious thing with emotions they don't respond well to being dismissed ignored or avoided. Often they're just asking to be noticed or acknowledged it's like our stress is saying "hey just notice me for a second and then I'll move on" but when we are constantly trying to keep our emotions at arm's length our emotions act more like a toddler saying" Mom mom mom mom!" "what?" and when you finally give them your attention they say "I went potty on the potty" And you say "Oh good job you're the best" and the kid moves on now if we really want to have choice with our emotions we have to be willing to spend a second and lean into them. Comment below what are the emotions you're most afraid to sit with for a second . Thanks for watching and take care! I'm excited to announce my upcoming course called "How to Help: Powerful tools to help when someone you love struggles with mental health" I'll be including some videos here but the full course is on udemy.com and is going to include over 40 instructional videos outlining specific ways to help someone with depression anxiety or other mental health concerns

5 Most Amazing Accidental Historical Discoveries

rich soil always appreciates good care so it can provide miraculous natural gifts to the farmer however James                                                     bristle a farmer from Michigan got                                   something more exciting from the ground he had a field to grow soybeans and one day he noticed something sticking out of the ground that looked like an old decayed fence post at first sight however the fine turned out to be much more amazing James got an excavator to dig deeper and was stunned to see a well-preserved skull these were the bones of a wooly mammoth that lived on the planet about 15,000 years ago the multi-ton giant was approximately 40 years old when it died archeologists found most of the animal skeleton including the almost intact skull with tusks though they did not find it slims apparently some hunters separated and took the limbs and put the mammoths body in storage it is noteworthy that James exercised his right to keep some of the mammoth remains and gave most of the bones in the skull to a local museum that was the first discovery let's see what's nexta landowner with a plot near Buenos itis could not even imagine the treasure his ground held inside while walking around his farm Jose Nieves discovered a part of an unidentified object in the ground but it resembled of a dinosaur egg shell actually the reality was much more fascinating the farmer did not leave it as it was but decided to dig the relic out the fine turned out to be much bigger than an assumed egg as it was over three feet long an explanation was offered by paleontologists who stated the object was a shell of a prehistoric animal that existed during the Ice Age namely a young life dad owned a kind of armadillo that inhabited our planet more than ten thousand years ago the discovery was unique as the osseous structure was well preserved considering the time since the animal died this fine shows how amazing and mysterious nature is as it stores numerous valuable puzzles of our past a famous discovery was made by mere chance in March 1974 a peasant from Jean went to the mountains to dig a well to his surprise he found many ceramic fragments sticking out of the ground instead of water when digging this became one of the most significant archaeological finds of all time the Terracotta Army of kimchi Wang the Emperor who United isolated Chinese states into a single Empire in the 3rd century BC the notable historic relic dates back to 210 to 209 BC each of 8,000 warriors is a full-size statue made of clay that weighs about 135 kilograms the weight of each horse is 335 kilograms the baked material was covered with a special organic substance and painted the innumerable army buried 1.5 kilometers from the Emperor's tomb instead of real warriors is believed to be an ancient way for a leader to affirm his total Authority and to gratify his ego in this world and beyond more than 700 thousand people worked for 38 years to build the kin chief Wang's mausoleum and create his Terracotta Army in the mid-1930s an extraordinary discovery was made not far from Baghdad some pottery jars that looked quite simple at first sight the Mesopotamian artifacts which did not draw much attention at first were later identified as the oldest galvanic cells in other words the most ancient electric battery in the world the battery itself is a 13 centimeter container filled with acid or alkali with a copper cylinder and an iron core inside a galvanic element that is quite customary for us today the design of the container is very similar to that of the chemical device intended to generate electric current created in the early 19th century by Alessandro Volta the pioneer of electricity does it mean that ancient people knew about electricity 2500 years ago the question remains undetermined in 1947 Willard F gray an American physicist made an exact copy of the Baghdad battery using copper sulfate as the electrolyte the battery produced electric current with a voltage of about two volts in Mythbusters episode 29 copies of the Baghdad battery were tested Kari grant and Troy managed to generate four volts of current using some lemon juice as the electrolyte days are very much alike for coal miners especially those working in the rural Siberian title region of komarovo Oblast on September 5th 1969 miners working in a coal mine at a depth of 70 metres saw a 2 metre marble sarcophagus the artifact was hoisted to the surface of the ground and the miners driven by curiosity opened the cover there was a mummified body of a young girl inside flooded with a pinkish liquid she had white skin in thick chestnut hair that very evening Special Service agents arrived in the village and loaded the sarcophagus into a helicopter the discovery was named ty Sewell princess scientists were stunned the body taken out of the liquid started browning rapidly but was restored to its original color when placed back into the sarcophagus without any signs of decay it turned out to be impossible to determine the production technique and the content of the liquid filling the coffin it is reasonable to assume that the girl belonged to a civilization that was much more highly developed than ours however there is no reference to the mysterious high school princess in scientific publications or newsfeeds there are no authentic video materials to prove this exceptional discovery

Can 2 Strangers Fall in Love with 36 Questions?

i was like a pretty chubby kid growing up who wanted like a girlfriend and who like you know dreamed of all these things that we could do together                                                                                                                                                                         a viral new york times article featured                                                                  36 questions that could supposedly make any two people fall in love we wanted to see what would happen if we asked these questions to two complete strangers on a blind date my name is joseph derose i'm a usc student who studies film and television production these all c100 mark ones are mark ii never mind i've been um single for a couple years now and hoping to find somebody who shares my passions and who i can do the things i love with hi hi i'm briar joseph how's it going nice to meet you you too i'm briar i'm from orange county california and i'm currently going to school to become a veterinarian i've been single for about 10 months now and i'm ready to start dating again should we pick a flavor sure yeah let's see what do you prefer um i don't know i'll help you out a little bit all right raspberry that's not good okay this is a good one for you is there something that you've dreamed of doing for a long time and why haven't you done it of the things that i want to do eventually in life the only one that i would at all have like the the slightest bit of possibility to do now would be to just like kind of take off i'd really like to just do like the walter mitty thing and just like oh my god that's my favorite movie yeah no i know i love that movie yeah that's literally what i would like to do too yeah i always told myself as soon as i graduate high school i just want to go traveling like a gap year but that's one thing i will hold myself to do for sure when did you last cry in front of another person or by yourself or both i am not too emotional i don't cry a lot i think the last time i cried was with my sistern when we were watching think it was titanic i know that's very funny but the only time i will actually cry is if i get like super moved in a movie yeah it's funny because i'm like the exact opposite where i i don't actually think i've ever cried during a movie i've gotten like teary-eyed and close and i'll be like oh wow i'm about to cry during a movie and then it just stops and i'm like wow that's sad there was like a period pretty much for all of freshman year when i was just like very bottled up and was going through a lot of things just with like moving away from home i would just be like in bed and my roommate sleeping across you know i'd just be like silently like tears coming on my face um but yeah that was a terrible year but you seem better now so that's good it seems like you're in a good place yeah ooh what is your most treasured memory i think growing up we would always go out to the desert and just spend like a weekend out there like for christmas during the summer like any time and it was just so fun like being out there because if you go out there it's just like pure silent like it's so beautiful i think for me i think this was after like one of my first dates with my my girlfriend from high school um it was like the first serious relationship i had like the only so far i guess but i was like a pretty chubby kid growing up and so i always like was like a little chubby weird nerd who wanted like a girlfriend and who like you know dreamed of all these things that we could do together but kind of thought that it would just never happen after that like first date it was like oh like i actually have that and this is like becoming reality and like i've gotten here i don't know it's one of those moments when you just kind of feel like you have a good perspective of what life is and you kind of understand how nothing matters except for your personal experience of life because that's the only thing that's real to you and at that moment that experience was really good that's awesome final task oh wow okay i'm gonna laugh i would say he's really sweet he is very intelligent which i find very attractive honestly my mind went all over the place at first then also i was thinking about how pretty his eyes  and just kind of focusing on that i like the color of her eyes [Music] i like brown green where are you i wish i had blue eyes i wish i had brown eyes [Music] i'd say that she's definitely someone who cares a lot about nature and kind of has a spirit of adventure she looks at her life as like the things that she has in front of her as opposed to things you've got behind you which is good because i feel like i probably dwell on the past too much i feel like i just looked into your soul it's kind of hard to overpower the nervousness but i felt pretty comfortable at the same time he made really good eye contact and didn't make me feel awkward at all i definitely would he seems like he'd be really fun we share a lot of similar interests with nature that was definitely one of the more unique experiences of my life um yeah i've never been on a blind date or anything before so would you be interested in that oh yeah i think maybe honestly yeah i mean i think i think it'd be interesting just to talk more i don't know i don't think there's anything romantic there but maybe just to talk about our similar perspectives um on some things would you be open to like saying that like to her yeah yeah i mean i think hopefully that's not offensive i mean so they asked uh if we go on a second date i'm curious first what you said yes so yeah i feel like um totally honest like i'd definitely be down to to go like and talk more um i like didn't feel like a like a romantic spark at all or anything but i would definitely like i'd like to continue the conversation definitely hang out and do something fun like go to the beach or something like that that'd be really cool i feel like the difference between friends and romantic interests is really difficult to define and that's something i've always tried to pinpoint and never been able to i would say that it was pretty nerve-wracking of course i was really nervous but it was overall a really good experience and i'm really happy it happened hey guys this is jason this is ian i just want to say thank you so much for watching that video uh here at jubilee we just want to create amazing content for you that's all about radical empathy so let us know what you thought in the comments
